KITE
BEGINNER + INTERMEDIATE COURSE (8 hours) Level 1 - 4 + T
Immerse yourself in Kitesurfing with our 3-day intensive course. Our basic + intermediate course consists of the basic theory and practice of kitesurfing, including technical flight concepts and safety techniques to be able to practice this sport with full control and in absolute safety. With the help of the simulator you will learn “dry” the gait techniques that you will put into practice in the test in the water.
Develop a deep understanding of kite control, followed by bodydragging techniques to achieve adequate kite power.
Perform 50-meter tacks, the first changes of direction and finally perform your first “bowline” to be able to go upwind, a long-awaited and long-sought moment for all “beginners kitesurf” to be able to obtain your level 5 certificate.
The basic + intermediate course on the boat is the best way to learn! Concentrate only on your Kite while your instructor will be on the boat next to you to assist and encourage you with the transceiver. All in the wide waters of Lake Como and in absolute safety!

Once you have reached the objectives agreed with your instructor, and performed the relaunch of the kite from the water, we will be happy to give you the board and begin with the first “water starts”.

WHAT TO BRING
- Board shorts / swimwear to wear under wetsuit.
- Adequate clothing for boat journey and weather conditions (hoodie, sunshades and hat)
- Hand towel
- Water, small snack, waterproof phone container, flip-flops
- Sun protection
SCHEDULE
- Location – Dervio in kiteschool (or use of the Pick Up service)
- Meeting time – 30 minutes before boat departure for equipment check
- Return time – 30 minutes after lesson ends
